Surgery, ENT & Ophthalomology Including Dentistry

The subject of Surgery and Homoeopathic Therapeutics is included in the syllabus of 2nd and 3rd B.H.M.S. The final exam is conducted at the end of 3rd B.H.M.S.

As homoeopathy has proved its efficacy in treating many pre and post surgical cases, the sound knowledge of Surgery is essential for a very good medical practice.

The Department of Surgery is well equipped with all the surgical instruments, and fully functional Major and Minor operation theatre with recovery rooms. There is a separate OPD for surgical Cases at the Hospital.

The College and Hospital arrange regular OPDs and Free Diagnostic Camps of General Surgery, Dentistry, ENT, Ophthalmology (Eye Diseases) & Orthopedics (Bone & Joint Diseases).

The Surgery & Homoeopathic Therapeutics Department has a well spaced Demonstration hall to accommodate more than 35 students for practical classes.

The department is having regular teaching faculties to share their rich experience i.e. General Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Dentist, Ophthalmologist, ENT Surgeon and Homoeopaths with M.D. qualification to teach the Homoeopathic scope in surgical cases.

The students are given regular exposure to major and minor surgical procedures in the Baroda Homoeoapthic Medical College Hospital and affiliated hospitals during 2nd and 3rd BHMS and internship period.
